Currently its fixed 10s, for some requests, like uploading images on a slow network its not enough
I am moving this item to complete given the raise of the timeout to 60s. Please file another Canny item if there are additional cases that are not being addressed.
Revisiting this item, the timeout for Functions is now 60s – is this sufficient?
@Drew DiPalma: No.. Amazon Lambda Function timeout is 900 seconds (15 minutes). At least provide 300 seconds Function timeout
@Drew DiPalma: No, 60s is not sufficient. Sometimes there is a need to add delays to ingestion functions that use API queries in order to bypass limitations of other APIs (e.g. maximum 90 calls per minute).
A higher value would be useful. Ideally you should be able to configure the timeout value per function or at least per stitch app.
However, 60 seconds as the default value is good.
